Our client wanted a trailer setup that could handle the pace and pressure of high-volume festivals. They needed a full-service solution that worked seamlessly with their van, maximised serving space, and streamlined both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
The Brief:
The challenge was to design and build a trailer that could deliver smoothies, slush drinks and hot food with speed and reliability. The client expected:
- A push-out counter for maximum serving space
- Dedicated systems for hot and cold holding
- Banked slush machines for high demand
- A rear awning to expand the back-of-house area
- Safe, durable installations suitable for continuous festival use
What We Delivered:
We engineered a 3.5 tonne tri-axle trailer designed for festivals and built to last. Features included:
- Push-out counter and wing boards for customer-facing service flow
- Nine slush machines banked along the rear, with lowered counters and a smart refill system from the back kitchen
- Hot holding and chip scuttles on both sides, with refrigerated centre section
- Full cook line in the rear awning area, plus prep and cleaning facilities
- Mobile sink station fed by hot and cold water connections at the back
- Compact pipework and storage cupboards to maximise space
- 3-phase power hook-up with pass-through capability for smart event savings
- Gas bottle storage at the front with individual isolation valves for every feed
- Custom fabricated reinforced hatches, mesh covers for electrics, and load ballast systems to keep everything safe and reliable
The Result:
The finished trailer delivered a complete festival-ready unit, with practical details designed for long-term gains: faster service, lower running costs, improved safety, and more comfortable working conditions. Every element, from the reinforced hatches to the compact pipework, contributes to a robust, efficient and profitable setup.
