An ideal conversion for quick return on investment and you want something that looks a little unique ……
We often get asked “Can you convert Horse trailers? The short answer is Yes, absolutely! In principal the conversion process is similar to a vehicle, it’s just a slightly different footprint. We’ve done plenty before, so it is fair to say we know exactly what we are doing. We just need to know what you will be selling and how you want to work and then you can hand over to us and we can do the rest.
So, if this is your unit of choice then great let’s get started!

What are the main advantages of a horsebox?
- Second-hand horseboxes are relatively low cost to purchase
- They have a traditional and authentic look
- Even though space maybe limited there are some clever tricks we incorporate at the design stage to maximise on the space
However, there are a few things to bear in mind……
- Generally, these units are old, so be prepared to hunt down a decent one
- These need to be roadworthy so you need to be checking what is going on underneath with the axles, tyres, brakes and coupling – they may not have an engine but they do have wheels and you need to be able to tow it safely!
- Depending on the condition of the body you may need to factor into your budget some body repairs
So, what’s next once you have your horsebox? Well you need to contact us, and we will guide you through the next steps;
- You tell us exactly how you want your business to work, what is it you want to offer to your customers and what you plan to sell, we will go into all the detail including what type of events you plan to trade at or if you have a permanent pitch.
- We agree on the best equipment to support your business versus the size of area you have, if you need a display area and how we can make that work best for your trailer. By working together we can each share our expertise, you on your business operation and ours on the knowledge and skills we have gained around designing and building these style of units plus what we’ve learned from speaking with our customers time and time again.
- We turn those requirements into an outline design that considers the size of the service hatches required, the space you need for food preparation and cooking, the best combination of kitchen equipment including your storage requirements
