An interview with Jonny…

Our client wanted something truly stand out and we delivered with our inhouse designed and built Retro Roller Airstream style catering trailer.

Would you like to introduce yourself and tell us more about your business?

“My name is Jonny and I’m the owner of The Big Bánh in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. We are an independent specialising in Vietnamese inspired Bánh Mi sandwiches. We had a permanent location for 3.5 years before we decided to take the leap into full-time mobile catering.”

Why did you choose 4Sure for your conversion?

“The Big Bánh team actively searched numerous trailer companies and suppliers for prebuilt trailers and we also considered imports but after many months of extensive searching and discussions with different trailer specialist including site visits, we came to the conclusion that we needed to use a British company to build bespoke unit. 4Sure Solutions Ltd had a professional approach from the first introductory meeting. They put us at ease and explained the full build process covering all aspects of design to the third-party regulatory bodies that would be engaged to meet a fully UK compliant safe trailer.”

Did 4Sure exceed your expectations for your conversion (and why?)

“Over the build process, 4Sure exceeded our expectations and we were guided through every key stage. There are a lot of unknows and these were all tabled, discussed and resolved through frequent communications and video conference calls. The professional approach of the 4Sure staff gave assurance that we would get a bespoke trailer built to the highest quality standard.”

What problems did you face before working with us?

“The process of attaining a trailer to meet our needs was a herculean task and we needed the guidance of the manufacturers and suppliers. We were not impressed by an import supplier and they had no provision to help, guide or convert a trailer. We also looked at other UK manufacturers but once again, full assurance was not there. We are very grateful that we persisted and found 4Sure.”

How do you think this conversion will improve your business?

“The design and craftmanship is so apparent and it has a presence. At all the events and festivals that The Big Bánh has attended, we have received nothing but praise for the design and build quality of our trailer. It really shows off our brand especially with the addition of the lightbox and tailor-made logos.”

If you had to choose one feature, which would be your favourite?

“The main feature of our trailer is the “airstream” type of design with a polished aluminium outer shell.”

How did you find the customer service here at 4Sure?

“The customer service from start to finish was first class. Lynn Harrison the Office Manager for 4Sure was our contact from the initial meeting right through to the handover. Lynn’s professional approach and experience guiding and advising us all the way and including aftersales service, is second to none.”

What made our product or service stand out from our competitors?

“The design process was faultless. We had regular meetings where we put forward our design brief and this was taken onboard by 4Sure and through an iterative process, the design was developed and confirmed before the build process began.”

Was there anything we could have done differently?

“The main standout feature for us was the full turnkey product from concept, to design and build catering for all the nuances of our appliances, power needs, operational flow, layout and branding.”
