The Client:
Glaze and Roll is a Northern Ireland-based street food business with ambitious plans to serve high-quality food at high volume. When it came to their new trailer, they knew they needed something bespoke, and they were prepared to travel to the UK to work with 4Sure, having seen what we’ve built for other serious traders.
The Brief:
This wasn’t just about replacing an existing unit. It was about levelling up.
The Glaze and Roll team wanted a trailer that could:
- Handle high throughput at busy festivals and events
- Deliver consistent performance over time
- Be laid out exactly the way they needed for flow, speed and hygiene
- Look the part and support their brand presence
They also wanted the durability to match the demands of their trading schedule, with thoughtful features that would help them operate at their best.
What We Delivered:
We worked closely with Glaze and Roll to create a completely custom 18ft tri-axle trailer. Every part of the unit was designed with functionality and longevity in mind:
Structure & Build
- Powder-coated white finish with matching cappings for a clean, modern look
- Push-out front counter to expand the working area and improve service flow
- Wing boards for added presence on-site
- Rear roller added for protection during towing or transport
Cooking & Service
- Super chrome griddles, heavy duty, long-lasting and safe for use with metal utensils
- High capacity fryers and bain-maries
- Full extraction system with external access for easier deep cleans
- Refrigeration and large chest fridge/freezer for plenty of stock on hand
Hygiene & Maintenance
- All appliances raised and set in to eliminate dirt traps
- Two sink stations – one for hand washing, one for pot washing
- Multi-function water system with onboard and external supply options
- All electrics and systems clearly labelled for easy operation
Gas & Safety
- Oversized galvanised steel gas pipework throughout, chosen by the client for maximum durability and resistance to wear
- Gas bottle storage positioned at the front for accessibility
- Full certification and compliance
The Result:
The finished trailer combines robust construction, thoughtful detailing and smart features that help Glaze and Roll deliver food fast, stay on top of hygiene, and trade confidently at high-profile events.
